Ecosystem Management
Manages the aquatic resources through the marine reserve network and international commitments. This involves monitoring for reef health, commercial species populations, seagrass and mangrove productivity and enforcement of the reserves and fisheries regulations.

Capture Fisheries
Collects and analyses fisheries data and provide sound technical advice to the Fisheries Administrator on matters concerning the sustainable use, conservation and management of aquatic resources in Belize.

Mange Access Licensing
Licenses manage fishing types, methods, catch limits, and specific fishing areas. Managing control of fishing, ensuring sustainability, conserving aquatic resources, and promoting responsible fishing practices.
